# Handlebar Guide

Handlebars are your primary contact point with the bike and affect everything from comfort to control. The right bars can transform your ride.

## Types of Handlebars

### Drop Bars

Drop bars for road and gravel come in different widths and shapes. Compact drops are more accessible; traditional shapes give more hand positions. Flared bars are popular for gravel.

### Mountain Bike (MTB) Bars

For MTB, width and rise matter. Wider bars give more control; rise affects your riding position. Carbon bars save weight; alloy is more affordable and durable.
