Does Laka offer a no-claims discount?

At Laka, we’ve flipped the script on traditional insurance. While Laka does not offer a conventional individual No-Claims Discount (NCD), you benefit from something even better: the Collective power of the community.

How does Laka’s pricing model reward the community?

Because Laka operates as a Collective, your monthly premium is based on the actual cost of claims within the group during that specific month.

• Low claims = lower prices: If the Laka community has a great month with fewer claims, the monthly cost for every member (including you) drops.

• Shared success: This is effectively a Collective no-claims discount. The whole community wins and saves money when fewer claims are made.

Will making a claim increase my monthly payment?

No - at least not in the traditional way. Unlike standard insurance where one accident wipes out your personal discount, Laka’s pricing is driven by the community’s total claims.

While an individual claim doesn't "reset" a personal discount timer, the total cost of all community claims determines the final monthly bill for everyone. This means your price won't skyrocket just because you had a bit of bad luck.
